Just what my wife was looking for in a toaster. We had a old HB 2 slice we bought 25+ years ago when first married and it still was working fine, but since retirement, we eat at same times now so it was annoying to let one of our toasted items grow cold while waiting on the others to toast, thus we looked for a 4 slice solution. Cord comes out the front just like the old HB, which is annoying, but guess that's just the way HB mfg ? So was used to dealing with that and moved on. Toast all 4 slices as close to the same as a toaster device can. All 4 slices come up at once. Can toast only one slice if you need. Can toast all kinds of toaster items well, bagels, croissants, sliced bread, whatever is toaster safe. The beeping was new to us, but once we comprehended we really like the beeps now. We also like the toasting options. Picking a 4 slice toaster looks like it's a pretty hit or miss exercise is chance taking. This one really works for us. I do recommend much, but I would recommend this toaster.

I love this toaster!!! I have not had one in years and I've been using a toaster oven instead for everything. My Grandson asked for it. So far it toasts everything evenly. I have no problem pushing it down. One time is enough. It's very beautiful to look at on my counter top. I love the way it toasts my frozen waffles. They come out perfectly. I even toast THIN Pepperidge Farm Stone Ground Wheat bread and it also comes out perfect. Thick or thin. I have not toasted bagels yet. I like the lighted buttons. I also have a Hamilton Beach high-end can opener for years now and I love that too. I highly recommend this toaster. Some other reviewers have had problems with it, if it is defective, as some products do have that problem, I would send it back. I feel confident knowing that I bought this from Amazon Prime and they always honor their products and I can return items and have them picked up at my home for no charge.
