this is un REAL
just got it installed and working today
I can now walk 20 feet away into my remote vocal booth - monitor myself - adjust levels - A/B reverb plugins - set compression
turn down the drums
cue recording, transport sections
play a midi instrument or drum pad while I walk around my studio (haven't tried the latency or responsiveness yet, though it feels amazingly snappy and claims a 7ms latency on my network)
stand in different corners of my studio and adjust things away from desk

it's really, really, really good for me
I mean yea really good
gonna be a major studio weapon in getting NICU's first album finished, since I'm 100% indie / bedroom style

VERY, VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: The developers seem to have abandoned the program, as the last post of them in the forums was in 2021!!!Not one single support-message/bugfix since then. I was waiting for you to show and mention this, as your mouse-cursor was above the Forums @7:03 . The future of this program is quite uncertain. If the developers don't "come back", then the upcoming Ableton Updates will basically render the whole thing useless, as each bigger Ableton Update might also need a Touchable update. By the way: i m wondering why Ableton doesn't integrate the whole thing into itself? Anyone who likes to work with Ableton (especially folks working FOR Ableton) should absolutely LOVE this touch-control, and never want to come back to their old ways of controlling it!??! Having a native Ableton-Touch-Control would ensure a) best performance b) best stability c) being absolutely future-proof as it's built in and doesnt require a external company who - in case of zerodebug - might just fly onto the maledives or whatever the heck those developers are doing right now :) EDIT: i ve created a feature request in the Ableton Beta Forum, which you could support: called "Full Touchscreen-Support for Ableton will blow your mind"

Touchable is great, but the app from zerodebug I really loved / missed was StudioMux -- it allowed multiple audio and midi i/o from desktop to ios and back - so imagine having midi in Ableton Live triggering a synth on your ipad, and then having that sound from that synth back into an audio channel in Ableton Live. Yes I know IDAM *sort* of does that, but StudioMux allowed MULTIPLE audio/midi. ... like sending audio FROM Ableton through StudioMux to an effect on your ipad, being able to play with that by touch, and the audio coming BACK into Ableton on it's own channel. It was like having an ipad as outboard rack. It was flaky but fantastic.

I’m thinking about using this to run an in ear system instead of a Midas (mostly because I already owned enough I/O to do it) I would be able to send click to everybody and possibly use some soft tracks as well. Excited to try it out.

I’ve been using touchable with 3 iPads for about 6 months and I’m super impressed. Was previously using lemur or DAW control for Reaper which was also cool but the fact that touchable is specifically for ableton and embraces their proprietary features is sick. Definitely agree this app needs more attention to get the devs working on it again it’s feeling very dated despite how great the features are haha great video as always thank you 🙌🙌🙌🙌

i downloaded the app in my pc thinking i can use it on my i pad but the microsoftt store downloaded to my pc and now i dont know what the use for this in the pc, i thougth it was jut the software to cotrol the ableton from the pc, iand the touchable company havent put anything in years, men i trusted you...

Newest comments on the Apple App Store say it has been abaonded by developer so am hesitant to buy. I'm actually only looking for an iPhone app to control the Ableton transport (record, stop, undo, etc.) for vocal recording. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Bought this version a year ago.. (after using previous Touchable version for years). Had to because the old version wasn't working anymore..
My primary use goal was for clip edit.. this was so cool in the old version.. My first testride with the new Pro version I got bugged by the default cliplength of 8 bars, together with the same note length (8bars!!!!).. Fortunately I did discover the quantize menu.. But having to enter the same setting for every new clip or duplicate felt like a real bummer and being scammed as I wasn't able to enter my old Touchapp which worked fine.. Asked for a restituation of the Pro version and went for LK.. does the same job without any issues for €15.

I used this app for live performances for the last 5 years and if it wouldn't be for the sooo many bugs in it I'd give it a 5 star rating. For it's current state this would be 3 out of 5

Awesome thx 4 the reminder on this dope app, I messaged the developer a while back, and he said that the looper device didn’t have a widget or controls ..wonder if that’s still true? …would cool to set up a fx rack of loopers on a page n get looped 🌀

I would love to see the Audio clip editor be a bit more comprehensive - eg: movable warp modes and slice to MIDI perhaps? I know it has Warp settings and also send clip to simpler but if you're using breaks, its a bit limited. Good potential tho....
