Winrock at COP28: Local Action and Transformative Change at the Nexus of Food, Climate and Conflict.

Winrock International’s Patrick Cantin, chief of party of USAID-funded TerresEauVie RISE II Water Security and Resilience Activity in the Sahel, speaks at a COP28 (Dubai) event cohosted by the Stockholm Resilience Centre, the Near East Foundation, World Bank and Winrock. Cantin provided perspectives from TEV’s five years of working with communities, local partners and government in Niger and Burkina Faso to enhance social and ecological risk management systems through improved water security, enhanced sustainable productive land use, and improved management of shocks, risks and stresses.
