I certainly agree with your list. I’m a new Hoya head and I’ve had my challenges. These are in my collection and they have never skipped a beat in being easy going.

First time Hoya owner from Indonesia. For my first Hoya, I chose a multiflora from the Island of Sumatra which suppose to have intense yellow almost orange tips on the flowers. When I opened the box the small cutting was terrible. 25%of the leaves were yellowing. Fortunately, it bounced back so quickly within days it growing New leaves and It grows quickly for me

Hello. I'm new to Hoyas. But I didn't have a green thumb til now. Hoyas have been easy for me to grow. I can't keep some other plants going. Love your list and I agree.

1st was burtoniae, love it, 2nd was carnosa krimson princess, 3rd, and favorite so far, curtisii. Got it a week ago, already grew 3 inches on one of the vines! (Pumped out about 2 inches after watering last night)

Really wanted a normal, green carnosa, but none of my nurseries like to carry alot of non variegated plants 😢 i hate variegated

Greetings from Charlotte, NC and many thanks for this video! Very enjoyable to watch. I agree with your list although I don’t own a Sunrise. Hopefully this Summer I will find a good one. 😊. Rumor has it that they are easy and forgiving. Your Hoyas are beautiful! Many thanks for sharing. 👏🪴🥰

I think I saw a peduncle on your Krinkle 8? 🧐

Also, I think it’s funny that your chose these Hoyas because some of them were my most difficult haha. I agree that Sunrise and Pubicalyx are super easy (I def killed my first pub. It was my 2nd Hoya & I heckin’ overwatered 🥲) I’m on my 3rd Lisa & I’m barely keeping it alive. Not growing, but not quickly dying… 🤷🏻‍♀️ and then I’ve had my Krinkle 8 for over a year and I think I’ve gotten 2 new leaves…and for every new leaf, it seems like 3 others die 🙃 Never had a wayetii..

I’m sure it’s my lighting though. None of those are getting any sun stress/reddish coloration like yours..I bet you have great lighting!

My Carnosa Krimson Queen has been a rock through all the neglect and it grows crazy fast! The other Hoya I’d list is Hoya Bella. Although she’s more thirsty than other Hoyas, she grows insanely fast and is my only hoya that’s bloomed for me (& she puts out a peduncle with every new set of leaves!)
