NATO Sec. General Jens Stoltenberg Reflects on 10 Years Leading NATO | Amanpour and Company

Russia’s brutal war on Ukraine is among the biggest challenges that NATO has faced since its inception in 1949. Jens Stoltenberg, who has led the organization for a decade, will step down at the end of this month. Christiane sat down with Stoltenberg at NATO headquarters in Brussels -- the center of military power in the Western World -- for his exit interview.

Jens Stoltenberg is an economist and if ever there was someone who rose to a call of duty to become one of the best people in the world to lead nations and NATO, Stoltenberg deserves the highest honors.

I'll never forget my introduction to Stoltenberg with his speech following the Oslo terrorist attack. I have the utmost respect for him and am sad to see him step down from NATO. Truly a once in a generation leader who uses both head and heart to guide him.
