Running the Leipzig Marathon Course

Join me as I take you on a tour of the Leipzig Marathon course, exploring some of the city's most important landmarks and monuments, as well as its beautiful parks and forests. Starting at the Sportforum, home of the RB Leipzig, we run the half marathon loop twice, passing by the town hall, modern Catholic Church, Grassi Museum complex, and the Monument to the Battle of Nations. We also run through Leipzig's biggest parks and forests, as well as the Plagwitz neighborhood, known for its interesting buildings and street art. Along the way, I share some of Leipzig's historic moments and events, such as the Battle of Nations and the Monday Demonstrations. Despite some unexpected hills and rain, I found the route very well done and enjoyable.
