In this video our instructor Matt introduces you to Ableton Live, which is one of the best Digital Audio Workstations! We get started with basic explanations of the interface and navigation. Then we'll import a grand piano and create your first MIDI pattern. We'll also use an audio effect to process it. Then, we're going to be adding a kick sample onto an audio track. Finally, we'll go through basic organization techniques in Ableton. Let's get started!

Fast forward and rewind using shortcuts such as 5 and 6 or * and /. So, so to speak, controlling the position of the song (play) with the keyboard, which is unfortunately still missing in Ableton 12.
