Mr. Stukov, great video! EXACTLY what I was looking for. I have refurbished a Craftsman 113 table saw to replace my Bosch GTS1031 I bought 2 years ago. It took 2 years to finally get fed up with the da*n thing going out of alignment. I remember being in the shop with my dad and having him teach me the right/wrong way to cut wood on his Craftsman TS. Your bench plans fit my criteria very nicely, and I only have to make a couple of small adjustment to your dimensions, one being my need to use 6" casters & the other is the length[my max is 60"]. I will be adding a "ledge" under the OEM sheet metal to ensure that the saw stays where I want it to.

Thank you for taking the time to do ALL the work necessary to produce a video like this & the one where you actually build the bench. with your plans & videos I am well ahead of the game.

I have the greatest wife . . . she is giving me a NIB 36-T30T3 for Christmas. She either loves me or wants to make sure I stay in the shop.

Thanks Again,
Red

I installed my Delta fence today and the installation is just as easy as in this video. My fence was for an older 2 HP contractor type saw with a 27x40 cast iron table. Once finished with installing the rails, I put the fence on to check for proper alignment with miter slots and with blade. It was dead on right from the box. I ran a couple of long boards to check for blade burns on the wood. None. A very nice, high quality table saw fence that's easy to install.

Published upon request - thanks! I'm in the middle of building the compact workbench and have the same fence to go with the same 70 year old table saw.

I found it was pretty easy to drill holes through the cast iron and use the existing holes on the rail. Also, I'm using the original wings on my 1969 113, and some of those holes lined up perfectly already.

Either way, I agree, it is a huge upgrade for these saws, which are great machines that last forever, but came with poor fences.

When you lock down the fence at 3:38, it visibly goes out of square. Is that a problem you're noticing or was it fixed? Thinking about getting this fence but not if it always does that.

Thank you for the video and as its been a few years how has your experience been with this Delta fence system?

How did you get the 0 to line up with your line without moving the entire rail over? I don’t see how that is possible without removing the measuring tape and installing a new one at the 0 mark. You didn’t address this in your video Thx).

Thanks Mr. Stukov!

I see you aligned the right side 0 marker by using the 5 3/8" width of the fence.
Did the left side 0 marker align automatically?

Instruction manual says start front rail from the start of left wing - I have same old saw with wings not custom table like you.
So, when you clamped the left side of the front rail, how did you decide on the starting point placement of the front rail?

Has anyone actually used this saw. How well does it hold the settings. Such as the mitre tool and the fence?

Hi, thank you for the video, very helpful. I just bought this off someone, and it’s missing the template. Is it possible to know the distance from the table top to the top of front rail?

I take it You did not have the manual on how to adjust the rip fence that came with the saw

costs more than the table saw. unless it's a dewalt, milwaukee, or makita.
