Use any app on your Galaxy Z Flip 3 Cover Screen - SamSprung Launcher

Have you ever wanted to play a game on your Z Flip 3 cover screen? How about write an essay or do your finances? No? Well now you can! SamSprung Launcher is an app which replaces Samsung Health and allows you to run any app on your Cover Screen. In this video we'll go through the steps required to get SamSprung Launcher installed and running.

No reboot is necessary when initially loading the widget. The blank screen is actually just the initial load of your content, but a default "loading view" wasn't included with the initial design and other features took priority over going back to implement one. Since realizing there was some confusion about that, a placeholder view is being added.

Thanks for the video! I actually just installed a different app with the same function but it's a paid one. Though there are more functionalities but it's still a bit buggy and you can't customize the apps that you only need. Which is why I like this one better.

BTW, I was also able to make it work too without disabling the lock screen/password protection. Just need to set the side key's long press option to wake bixby. So everytime you click an app just long press the side key and the app will launch.

2. You either have to not put any apps that can't rotate to landscape on the widget or u have to download multistar from good lock go force all portrait apps to autorotate. Otherwise, it'll crash the widget and u can't get it back until u restart the phone

There's a pretty solid workaround by enabling the side key (power key) as bixby. Then you can press and hold the power button with the phone closed and it'll unlock, allowing you to use this app.
I use this method and it works 👍

HEY!!! No need to turn off security! Just set long press for the side button to Bixby and then anytime you want to open an app from the front screen just long press it and then the app you want!

Nice video but no lock option is not cool I think. It would have made the device so much more interesting if Samsung had enabled more widgets by deafult.

The problem are fintech and bank apps. They require safety measures such as pin or fingertip lock activated.

The bad thing about this widget is that it no longer allows you to block it again because if you do it no longer allows you to open the applications
