Hi, I'm here to give you some advice on which suburbs are the best suburbs to live in. Now, the Illawarra is a huge area, it ranges from Helensburgh all the way down to Kiama and so often people don't know where to start. It really does depend on what stage of life you're at, and what kind of home you're looking for. A lot of Sydney siders move to Thirroul because it's basically the transport hub to get to the city. Now, there are things that are changing there. So, but there is a lot of housing that is going on in the Thirroul that is trying to accommodate the growth that's going on from people wanting to move to that area. Fairy Meadow is a fantastic North suburb of Wollongong, It has the major supermarkets in it. So, if you need to whip down to Coles or Woolworths, Fairy Meadow is a great place to be and it has a variety of different housing types. So, you have some brand new apartments here, you also have a lot of older homes that are due for renovation, but there's also people renovating them and selling them as well. So, you've got a real vast array of property types. If you're a growing family, you may want to consider somewhere like Calderwood, where you can buy a relatively new home down there, or a house that will really suit the growing family and there is master plans in place for that suburb to grow with primary schools and high schools and all the facilities you'd be looking for. If you had a family. One of the hotspots for change is probably Port Kembla. There is a growing tendency for that area to be expanding and changing. It's been very much influenced by the still works in the past, but people are now starting to overlook that, I think it's going to turn into one of the trendiest suburbs to be and so yes, there's a lot of different types of property around that. If you'd like some further advice, please reach out. I'm happy to have a chat with you about what's happening in these different locations. My number is 0426 264 771, I'm Joanne from One Agency JD Property Agents. Talk to you soon and bye for now.
