If you don’t give everything you’ve got on your heavy compounds… the rest of the workout isn’t going to be as impactful. ALWAYS focus on going as heavy as you can with as many sets as you can on heavy compounds. Destroy your muscles on these types of exercises. Use them to break down as much as you can so when you move to more isolation types movements they are more effective.

LASTLY, really pay attention to my form on the lat pushdown. Your arms are not the only things moving here my friends. You need to rotate your body and bring your chest UP as you push the bar to your thighs to maximize engagement in your lats!

Why so much rowing? If the goal is build a big back the way to go is focus on the teres major (the muscle that really gives ur back that wide look). Thickness is important too but not as much as width

damn. I did this yesterday, but I started with chinups, and switched out the row at the beginning for an explosive row at the end, and my mid/upper back is SMOKED today.
