What does resilience look like? For high-school student Ndeye Ndiage, it means using ancient techniques to survive bullying and the stress of urban life. When Ndeye moved to her third high school in three years, she discovered how science could empower her to not only heal, but to also thrive.

Ndeye Ndiage is a college student living in Staten Island, New York. Many thanks to Ms. Ndiage for sharing her time and story with us.
