How the Retevis RT3S sounds on DMR using the Parrot.

If you’re new to DMR you don’t need to spend a fortune. You can try it out using a excellent preforming, budget handset. The RT3S is cheap and gives impressive preference.

This video isn’t intended to be a tutorial, simply a demonstration of the sound quality of the radio on a DMR repeater. My local repeater is GB7CZ and it’s easily reached by my x50 antenna with an S6 from over 20 miles away.

About a year later, but I wonder if I missed some detail on my setup. Just got the radio, but when the parrot (or echo) comes back to me, I just get about 2 to 3 seconds of audio to hear on the handheld. Repeater is transmitting fine all the audio. It seems that my radio goes in some sort of lock. Any thoughts?

I have found with these Chinese radio's if you look at their manual and it is obviously written by someone that does not speak english then the radio is junk and reviewers are not honestly reviewing these radio's. Here you have a prime example of this.
