“Bloomchild" is a coming of age sci-fi film concept that emerged from my own experiences growing up as a first-generation child in the suburbs of Connecticut. There weren’t many other kids that looked or behaved like me. I often felt isolated and misunderstood, not fitting neatly into any group.

My journey of self-acceptance was marked by the struggle to find belonging, while also grappling with the unique aspects of my identity - being an artsy nerd, a tomboy, and an introvert. It wasn't until high school and college, through photography and growing self-confidence, that I began to embrace my differences as creative superpowers.

"Bloomchild" is a celebration of self-acceptance and the beauty of diversity, reflecting the transformative power of embracing one's uniqueness. My hope is to make “Bloomchild” a reality with creative partners and studios who resonate with the story’s message and want to support its creation.

In my opinion as a CG producer with 10 years of experience, these videos look stillborn. AI looks good when it comes to lifeless things as cars or planes or whatever, but when it comes to people, animals or some organic type of creature, it feels like a dead-people photography back in the 19th century. It looks fucking creepy and disturbing to me. Maybe because of the artefacts or also because it feels unnatural, inanimate, empty. It will be scary when AI is able to simulate people's and animal's emotions. That is when I'll be frightened to hell.

I have subscribed to this channel to get the latest news related to the things that are available. I am not interested in what closed-source, still unavailable Sora can do. I think its time to drop the subscription and just go ahead and use some open-source tools. Enough is enough.

I am truly impressed by the advancements showcased here. The ability to generate entire videos and music from a simple prompt is nothing short of remarkable.

However, while I appreciate the artistic and technical achievements, I would strongly encourage OpenAI to focus more on addressing the pressing issues that humanity faces.

Climate change, poverty, widespread diseases, resource scarcity, and the future of energy are critical challenges that demand our collective attention and innovation.

Tools like Sora and Voice-GPT are undeniably impressive, but it would be heartening to see OpenAI channeling more of its efforts towards solutions for these global problems.

Regular updates and initiatives in these areas would be greatly welcomed.
