What if the movie goes like this?:

Bambi’s mom gets killed and he swears that he would get revenge on the hunters. But in order for him to actually have a chance against them, he decides to become a hunter himself. He grows up to become a killer of the forest, including killing Thumper and Flower, until he begins to take on a more humanoid form, standing up on two legs and learning to speak human language. Eventually he does kill them and tries to settle back down into the life he had as a fawn, but no one in the forest would accept him anymore, not even Faline, who ends up pregnant with his own fawns before he transforms. Eventually, he ends up dead himself and all alone because without the hunters and the forest, he had no home at all. Some say he took his own life by throwing himself off a cliff, others say that his father, The Great Prince of the Forest killed him. But either way, Bambi was never seen again.

And perhaps his humanoid transformation would be more of an artistic concept than a realistic one, as a lesson of revenge. If you get revenge, you end up becoming the very thing you sought out to destroy. I would personally see it with the same vibes as “The Ringing Bell” or “Animal Farm”.

What if Bambi who has been traumatized by his mother's death as well as the fire caused by the humans by accident, that could be when he truly sets out for revenge and kill any hunter that enters his forest.

Finally the death grip of Disney on bambi and winnie the pooh is over.. Public domain means others can tell their version of these stories.. I love how Disney wrote movies on these classics without a lawsuit from the originators of these stories but sue anyone and everyone who gets to do what they originally did.. Thank goodness for public domain laws
