A Taste of Beautiful Bavaria, Travel During COVID-19

Beautiful Bavaria in Southern Germany. Castles, Waterfalls, Bridges, Ettal Abbey, Fussen Lechfall, Zugspitz Blick, Partnach Gorge and so much more. Travel with Nana T and her HERO, a.k.a. her husband as they spend a few days exploring Beautiful Bavaria. Times have changed the way we travel during COVID 19, with all the restrictions, however, you have to do what you have to do, just so you can go travel!! We start at the Neuschwanstein Castle, after taking the shuttle up, we venture out onto Queen Mary's Bridge to capture some amazing shots. We spend the night in Fussen and hike over to the manmade waterfall, Lechfall, with not many places opened for dinner we end up eating Duck! Then in the morning we head over to walk upon the treetops AND we have the opportunity to be in two countries at the same time. That's right, we are standing in Germany and Austria at the same time. Next up is a quick photo stop at Zugspitz Blick, we also do a tour of the Ettal Abbey and the Brewery there, plus a cheese factory and on the way to the chees factory we run into some adorable little calves. Quick stop in Oberammergau for ice cream. AND we HIKE Partnach Gorge, only to miss our trail out and end up spending an extra 2 hours. But what a beautiful site to stand up on the bridge and look down into the gorge. And finally we do our first drone flight near Eibsee Lake in Garmisch.

I am just awed at all the places you get to go and it is always wonderful with that someone special. Loved the castles!

Wow! Garmisch and O’gau have certainly changed. I can’t imagine such luxury in that resort. Churches of Europe are the best. Always love a dose of cows too! So sweet.
Loved those murals…I wish we had them here. That was one heck of a Volksmarch you went on. Yikes! Eibsee…still as gorgeous as ever! Loved the walk down Memory Lane...45 years ago.
