To be fair, i've never seen Ground Zero THAT calm before. That was some Streamer RNG right there. Whenever i go Ground Zero on PvE, i get ass-loaded by lvl 50 PMC's tossing nades across the map and hauling my ass with VAL's and HK416's. Headshotting me from 300 meters.

Ai is same
Pmc have specific spawn points on each map, their ai is from rogues = laser
Their level and gear is randomized l, can be 1 or group to 6
Reasons to play: there is no wipe, so when you are no streamer and you are playing the game few hours per week, you never enjoy endgame gear or tasks, now you can. You can try new quests, gear, learn the game and quests. And mostly : no cheaters there

I wish my first PVE raids were that chill. I had boss level accuracy raiders (PMCs) all over lol. I haven't played in a bit though, so they have probably changed some things.

SBH can be done because there are spots where the AI PMC are known to spawn in some maps like customs the RUAF road is common spot for PMC AI to be so you can sit big red and get a few kills, but most often if you look at them with your scope they see you too and start cracking BP from their m4a4 with a red dot at you from like 180 meters away

I went and did a PvE kappa rush and actually had a fun time doing it, yeah not as challenging but still fun enough to casually play with a friend who’s learning the game if they had EOD and never played the actual game much

11:28 I did shooter born for pve, actually pretty easy once you learn the pmc spawn locations. Ground zero you get wayyyy more pmc encounters when you get past the map level cap.
14:04 iirc the quest doesn't have a distance requirement anymore for shooter born. its just head shots with a bolty.

Once I got past level 10, ground zero became an absolute war zone in PvE. I'm 30 now, and I have to bring in a ton of ammo to get through interchange. It's a lot of fun with all the PMCs mixed in

pre-level 20 ground zero is much more quiet that normal runs. pmcs also have designated spawns and wander patterns. for GZ, you hav in the main courtyard in front of terragroup, between the bank and terragroup near the car, on the road to nakatani. gz has low pmc spawn locations compared to other maps like lighthouse, interchange, reserve, etc.

You can exit camp for PMCs on PvE but you have to be lucky enough for them to chose the extract you’re camping. They do pop out of the raid once in the extract tho. And if they are extracting their bag is likely full. Good stuff too, I’ve gotten BC, moonshines and more of the high value items from both PmCs and scavs.
