Now this combination is very easy to use. Our company had this product a year ago. We used a combination of DJI RONIN-S, ZHIYUN and Steadicam, and the video shot was very good.

Thanks for the video mate, I just only saw it and was about to create a video on how to balance this setup myself when I was trying to work it out myself. One thing I found I would change in your balance routine is before you balance the glidecam I would turn on the gimbal it will save you trying to rebalance the glidecam again since the camera is flopping around when the gimbal is off changing the very delicate balance of glidecams. I will might make the video though. Again thanks for creating the video!

Is it just me who noticed the footage from this DIY rig shaking a lot more than just from gimbal?

Your gimbal has micro jitters :) I managed to get rid of them with auto tune, your setting, 2 screws for the camera and quick release plate. My setup has an A7s with Viltrox adapter to Canon 24-105 and focus motor. The total setup has around 2.3KG

I would recommend to update the Weebills firmware, set it in medium or high capacity and auto tune the motors before rigging the minity so you can avoid the jittering.

Hey guys I have just mocked up an Arri mini/trinity with a big build bmpcc and Zhiyun 3S. And I managed to get a monitor on it. Note the 3S is heavy with more reach so you may have to add additional weight on the glidecam foot. I using the HD 4000. The monitor was attached around the HD pole with a 25mm ronin m clamp with 1/4” sockets I mounted a 15mm rod and a nato style clamp so it can flex up and down easily. A ball head would be messy. I also have the flycam galaxy 8-18kg vest! You really need it for this set up! It works an absolute dream. I must make a video!

I’ve seen several demos on YT about this system. The question that jumps at me is what mode is the Weebill s in? The goal of a cameraman is to get footage of something specific. That would seem to be nearly impossible with this system. You can’t reach/hold the trigger to control the pan, you can’t reach the focus knob, etc etc etc. what exactly are you doing? Are you limited to orbiting/zoom in/out?

I have a question about Gimbals. Do they all have the same universal baseplate? What other Gimbal can I use? What about one without a motor?

Can't you use a small rig clamp and a long hdmi wire to connect the monitor to the cam?

have you tried taking the head of the Glidecam off and just screwing the gimbal straight into the Glidecam? just thought it might reduce the weight a little. love your videos btw, keep up the great work!

great setup! I have a Ronin S and would love to try to make a mini trinity myself. but my concerns are, that the Ronin S combined with a GH5 might be too front heavy with its 3.5 kg especially because its way longer than the weebill s. Any experiences or tips for a good glidecam?
