At some point it happens to everyone, you come out of your house, go to hope into your vehicle and the battery is dead. I will show you the process you should use when trying to charge a car battery that is dead.

Ok stupied questin where dose the neddle need to be when fully charged dose it go to the 8 mark or down i think i have a bad battery it was at 4 but it going down 2 allmost down 0 reconnect it goes to 3

Really dumb question, but single mother here trying to charge my dead battery and I'm a little scared. I was told by a couple friends to remove the black cord first when done charging but in your video you said to remove the red one first.... why is this, does it matter and will i blow myself up if I do it wrong? Lol

I have a similar model charger, same brand but it also has a 2 amp setting. The manual doesn't really explain what the meter is telling you. It's hard to find an explanation anywhere. I deduced that when the meter drops close to 2 it's probably as charged as it's gonna get.

I have a similar charger, about 50 years old, inherited from my dad. Today, the 8-year-old battery (tested by Ford garage on March 31st as good) on my 2015 Honda Fit didn't even make a sound when I turned the key. I put it on the charger for about an hour. Turning the key brought a weak sound of the car trying to start, so I put it back on the charger. How long does it take & how long need I run the car to return the car to full charge?

Ok. So I have a battery charger that was used on my Harley Davidson motorcycle. I also would switch it over to my lawnmower. Can I use that on my antique car.

Does it matter if I connect the negative to the negative side or the engine block or chassis?

The directions also say to attach the negative to the car frame- an unpainted part.

why is no video mentioning if your key should be in the inition or if the key should be turned on, partially on or totally out of ignition (with car off).
