Art imitating Life Episode 1

The first installment of this series where I will discuss similarities between comic book stories and real life events. Remeber, the the school curriculum is very biased, always do your own extensive research and find out the real truth. Peace, love and liberty.

Damn, that sucks for whoever has to google the 9/11 attacks. I was all the way over on the opposite side of the country and I remember that day like yesterday. We haven't had an attack on true American soil since 1812. But idk if the Hulk attacking the City was a reflection on the terrorist attacks. I think Marvel's too forward with that stuff, like that issue of Amazing Spidey when him and the Avengers and the FF helped clean up the aftermath of the attacks. Dope vid dude!

Really like how u explain things for us guys who dont read these Ultimates books. It does sound pretty good. On point w/ real world activities, and a nice twist on what we all live w/ everyday. Hope to see much more vids like this. Good Good stuff man.

I'm really glad to see you connecting the Marvel Universe with our universe and showing it here. I look forward to the "fear itself" story that is coming up in April. I forgot which Captain America got censored in 09 because it mentioned the tea party.

good stuff i like this idea art imitating life, keep the flow going my G .... i remember that day 9/11 real clear i was in school at the time n my mom was at work shes an E.M.T. and i can remember her coming home covered in gray crying cuz a friend/co worker died in the building trying to save a life ... after that day we all just went numb inside ... sometimes i look back at it and all that comes to mind is Illuminati

Ultimates Is a dope line. Like the way they did a little twist on each character. I feel Hawkeye has a grand origin in the line. Marvel dose do a lot of thing from our real world but at times I think It could be to much

bro, i took a terrorism class in college, and theres a whole 2 hour movie that everyone needs to sit down n watch about how theres no way the plane could have taken down the whole tower that quickly. it was like a bunch of small explosions n flashing light on a bunch of floors like it was perfectly planned by some smart ass scientist of how to take this building down. i cant remember what it was called

I don't think it would be right for me to comment on the horrible events in a city and a country that I have never set foot in. But I can comment on the effects 9-11 have had on my own country, where a racist is now leading the third largest political party and everybody seems fine with it. Fear and hate are exceptional motivators.
Marvel has a history of touching difficult subjects and letting the readers experience several different viewing points which I really appreciate.
