BMW wanted to revisit the design of the GS A compared to the GS with the arrival of this large 30-liter tank. The new R 1300 GS Adventure therefore exhibits a profile that is geometric to say the least, with a fairly rectangular tank which appears quite plastic in its approach.
the R1300GS and GS Adventure share the same advanced 1300 cc boxer engine, which produces 145 well-toned horsepower and 149 Nm of torque that pulls on the arms. This engine is smooth and always available with a nice peak of torque and a nice flat top torque widely available.

I've been a BMW guy for over 20 years. I've owned about 15 BMW bikes through that time. I've had 5 adventure bikes. I've loved them all. This thing is so ugly that I'm considering switching to a Honda Africa twin.

For 33 years I ride my BMW R80GS.

I did ride the BMW R1300GS off road at the Hechlingen off road park. It is a great bike!

I hope BMW comes up with a lighter simler boxer engine GS.
I will need a bike aside of my old GS!

PS: The „Adventure“ versions were always too big! But despite the critisism, It looks ok to me!
