I don’t know what the producer/writer intended to impart to their audience with this movie, I just want to say that it was my ‘me day’ (65 today) choice of a movie and did it do the job of giving hope that life isn’t over yet! And Andy Garcia *sigh*! Loved it as much as the first Book Club and I look forward to the 3rd one.

who is the actor at 1.00? He has such a gorgeous speaking voice and I feel I know him from a UK TV drama series - just can't remember his name. Cast lists don't seem to mention him. Can anybody help??

There was no need for a second film. Didn't like this one at all. Boring and Jane Fonda's plastic surgeries are just too much. Didn't even recognise her in the beginning.
