Only SRK did justice to this dialogue by remaining undefeated and alive unlike AB who got defeated by police in his first encounter itself and died. Nothing against the don of 1970 but SRK's Don and Don 2 did justice to the villainous role of Don.

I believe Don was a spy/agent who went crazy. He sold his skills to people like Zinghania and worked for him. But his real intention was to take everything for himself as we see in the movie. His tactical knowledge, his fighting skills, making himself aerodynamic while skydiving to get to the other guy, expertise in disarming explosives & even his knowledge about medical procedures, medicines & toxins ( used to kill Ramesh & Vijay) tells that he could have been an agent or had some form of training under someone at somepoint in his life. Don 2 makes this assumption even more true with everything he does in that movie. So Don is really like a James Bond, but pure evil.
