What a song. What an album. What a band. The Frantic Four had no match. Best line up ever. You will never see or hear a better rock band than QUO in its prime with the Hello, Quo, Live, On the Level and Blue For You albums. Thanks guys

This song is FOREVER! Super cool intro - flowing away into this main riff together with this super heavy boogie rock rythm. John's drumming it driving the song on and on. Bang Bang Bang. It is so hard to describe how i feel and always felt hearing this. I am totally freaking out immediately and have to play "Air-Guitar" or "Air-Drums". This definitely is their most legendary song in my opinion. Get on your feet - legs spread - banging and shaking all along the way. A super classic. Greater than great. The super long version of the original "On the Level" album is even greater. Greetings from germany.

I have this "On the Level" album. Originally bought in Melbourne, Australia in 1975!
I have played it so much I have worn out the tracks!
Air Guitaring in my bedroom as a 15 year old schoolboy!
Not ashamed to admit it, either!

If memory serves me right, this was Vertigo's first Aussie single release to include information on both sides. The first pressings, which are rare collectibles today, featured Vertigo's legandery swirl label, while the information b-side errorosly credited the song as "Get Down". The title was later corrected to "Down, Down". And of course, the rest is history!
