The lawsuit was filed in Rhode Island, which has strong *anti-SLAPP* laws. I'm excited for Nintendo to not only lose but to have to pay the Yuzu team's attorney fees.

I have a sliding scale when it comes to the morality of emulation. PS1, N64 emulation is a victimless crime. But come on, we all know what 95% of people with a Switch emulator in their hands will do with it. I am with Nintendo on this one, but after the Switch is commercially irrelevant for 5 years, I'll change my tune.

My "Earthbound" when I was a kid was Secret of Evermore for the SNES (found a bid box version eventually) -I played earthbound but much later.

the only time i pirated is because i cant play the games that i already bought legally..switch cant play 3ds games, they remaked them to make more money..rf 4 and rf 3.. i have buy those game in the past..lesson learned..i will never buy a digital game anymore..i will just go for a physical released and backup my rom in my computer..

Omg that earthbound box. I had that back in the day as well, right there with ya. Kinda neat that they included a strategy guide with it, for us dumb Americans lol. Was fun to read regardless and I wish I still had all my retro gear but my brother sold it all years ago while I was away working one weekend.
