Olivone (902 m ü. M.) ist eine Ortschaft der Gemeinde Blenio, zu der Aquila, Campo (Blenio), Ghirone und Torre zählen. Olivone liegt im oberen Valle di Blenio. Das Gebiet der ehemals selbständigen Gemeinde umfasst das Valle Santa Maria, durch das einer der beiden Arme des Brenno fliesst. Durch dieses Seitental verläuft auch die Strasse zum Lukmanierpass, der zwischen Olivone und der Bündner Gemeinde Medel liegt. Auf der Bündner Seite des Lukmaniers liegt auch der Lai da Sontga Maria (Lago di Santa Maria).
Olivone (902 m above sea level) is a locality in the municipality of Blenio, which includes Aquila, Campo (Blenio), Ghirone, and Torre. Olivone is located in the upper Valle di Blenio valley. The area of this formerly independent municipality includes the Valle Santa Maria valley, which is traversed by one of the two branches of the Brenno river. The road to the Lukmanier Pass, which is located between Olivone and the Graubünden municipality of Medel, also runs through this tributary valley. The lake Lai da Sontga Maria (Lago di Santa Maria) is located on the side of the Lukmanier that faces Graubünden.
