Thanks for the video! I was lucky to get an '86 Elite 150 Deluxe with the factory Kenwood for free! It needed a rebuild, but nothing too crazy. It has over 20, 000 miles on it and still runs like a champ. I love cranking 80's jams on the stereo!

I had a 1986 Yamaha CA50. Just got 2 Taotao scooters. EXACT same set up. Only difference is the Yamaha was a 2 stroke. Honda always made products that last forever.

I had the 84 Elite and used it to get to work for a few years. It was well balanced and handled well. Now retired, I have the 110 which I bought new in 2012. It’s made in China so it looks like a Chinese scooter. Although a little bit boring to ride, quality is very good. With only 1, 300 miles, I am thinking of trading it to the 2020 new monkey mini bike.

I like the segmented numbers on the odo and trip odo on the 84, looks like a 9 segment lcd display, even though they are standard style rollers.

I agree, Honda makes a fantastic scooter, and that the ruckus is dumb, I’ve had a few that I bought, fixed and sold and I don’t get the hype. I Love my 1985 elite 150, it’s nearly identical mechanically to your 125. Almost 24k kilometers on it, runs mint! I change the oil every year or 500 km and every two years or 2, 000 km I adjust the valves and change the coolant.

Super clean 84. I just bought an 84 elite 125. It doesn’t have a battery so what type of battery do you recommend? Oil, coolant etc? Thanks!
