I love John getting sassy ...” if you all would just shut. up. and. play!”.
You tell ‘em, John!

This scene is proof that good music can stop all arguments and bring people closer together

I've probably heard this song countless times and yet it never gets dull.

I wish I could get away with calling everyone "my darlings" and "dear".

"ok, I'll do it" (2:17)
"I'LL DO IT" (2:19)
Then the Beat and Bass drop....
Love how they did this scene

Bass players might seem the most insignificant and unseen in the band but they’re the backbone that holds all the members together just as their instrument.

John's sassiness and anger in this scene is excellent, especially for the death glare he gave to Freddie, and his "If you all would just shut up and play", YASS JOHN YASS!

John Deacon will forever be the owner of the best bass rift in Rock and Roll history. This song is an absolute timeless classic

Here’s some interesting fact about the song... too bad no one played Michael Jackson in the movie!! Queen were originally reluctant to release this as a single, but backstage after a Queen gig at the Los Angeles forum, a visiting Michael Jackson convinced them it would be a hit. "Michael and all his brothers were all going, 'That's a fantastic track. You must release it, '" recalled Queen drummer Roger Taylor to Q magazine December 2009.

Freddie by himself out of breath at the end is sad, hints that it was about this time his sickness started to take hold :( Also the cuts to the club hints that’s where he got it:(

1:00 I'm surprised Paul didn't receive a flying drum to his face.

It just amazes me how many hits I’ve heard growing up actually came from Queen.
