I think the problem was rather that it wasn't THAT obvious that it was satire. He just grinned a lot more like a psycho, but there wasn't much indicating that it was satire. Poorly made if so. I guess the worst part is that things have gotten so crazy that this seemed believable in the first place.

IF, and i use the word 'IF' with strong reservations, if this was satire then people are still rightly offended because of the simple fact that human consumption is real. There are restaurants that have freezers of select cuts and organs 'apparently' from donners. But lets be real, there is enough crime in the world to know that if it carries a price it will get sourced by any means.
