SPT v3.9.8 might’ve been the golden age. I’m sure modders will get back on the grind eventually, but all the OGs have been doing this for years at this point so I understand the burnout.

I just wanted to say thank you for this, I don’t have discord anymore so I didn’t know what was going on with SAIN but you have updated me about this and said that someone else was working on it which made me feel relieved to know that someone else is working on it. As for SWAG I already knew about that news and I wish the creator of that mod the best of luck with his personal life, also good video bro.

I wholeheartedly believe in lacy to make SAINs stay updated and have good features, considering he's one of the main Fika developers (if not the original creator)

I unknowingly started playing SPT and FIKA with friends right as 3.10 dropped. Never played EFT Live before this, nor do I really intend on being 9-5 PMC bait. Super grateful about SAIN already being on 3.10 despite any issues it may have (I can't tell if there's any honestly) and Swagnut I can live without I suppose. Not going to downgrade to earlier versions either.

Lacyway also said that he will not fix old bugs with SAIN just port the project to 3.10 and fix any bugs which will be caused by that. So do not expect new features.

This is definitely not a bad thing at all - I would say it’s great news for SAIN - nothing against Solarint, he has done amazing work, but I have the greatest of faith in Lacy, he has done brilliant work with Paul’s multiplayer mod, again, the greatest of respect to Paul too, great guy, amazing work, been following his for maybe years, but Lacyway has done amazing work with his building on that and taking it to a great place.

to be honest i wish i kept the 3.9.8 files so i can play with all those cool mods still and beat the game i have never done that but i am ok with seeing how it all goes but still would love to go back.

3.10 has new maps, tripwires partisan etc etc.. yah but so many things are broken af / so id rather still play 398 and wait for new live unity update + spt update.

Hi, I'm new to SPT and just downloaded it today. Is there an estimated time when SAIN will get to 3.10? Does it take long to get updated? (honest question) I'm sick and tired of the AI and just want to have a good time in Tarkov

I can support one of those. But to be very honest, even though I love them, supporting one of them can cost me my second job. So, I want to see if people are willing to donate for this work. I don't know if SPT team itself allows that, which I highly doubt because of BSG.
I know so many other devs are willing to do the same but are afraid/shy to ask this question.

I haven't played SPT as much as I used too (GAMMA and S2), but I do wish SPT devs would leave a version to rollback to public for mod compatibility. I'm lucky in that I decided to randomly update from 3.8.0 to 3.9.8 so I have both builds still, just sucks I can never get rid of them for storage reasons unless I'm cool with never seeing them again.

I installed SPT and modded it for the second time (the first was a test, it worked poorly and I uninstalled it until I decided to try it again) I ordered the mods wrong and I wanted to do a clean installation (delete everything to reinstall), when I went to return to install SPT the next day they had updated the game and I was left without the possibility of modifying it again since the authors delete the previous versions of SPT.... my luck... now I don't know what to do, the realism mod, SAIN and Swag+Donuts are the basis of what I want from the game
