I have searched, since the night of the final performance when I was so, so lucky to attend this, for the right way to represent this experience to friends of mine when sharing it. I somehow had never seen this video. Tearing up rewatching it…

It’s hard to describe the simultaneous enormity and intimacy of this experience. It remains unique in my life to date. When the curtains dropped, we were in pitch black, and all of a sudden you understood that you were in the football field-sized interior of this hall. Literally breathtaking.

I love that you’ve described it as a transfer of energy. It was exactly that. It was also the most presence-inducing uninterrupted continuous 50 minutes I may have ever had. Thank you, almost ten years later, for giving me such a beautiful way to revisit this 🙏🏽🖤
