I'm Australian and have to deal with this every time I want to check the live rain radars or warnings in my area...

As a tech guy in Australia, it's apparently because of older machinery, including tractors that connected to the BOM don't support HTTPS. Yes tractors. But then again can't a website be at up with both

Yeah, I never thought about this as an Australian. At work we check it all the time and just wait the extra three seconds.

This short made me laugh really hard in like, the first three seconds, because "can you fucking imagine how many different things I would have to explain to my mom before this short makes sense?" it's like a five tier tower of cooked-ness.

Why do you think weather information needs to be secured?
Its the most public domain information there is.
