The Law Commission of India issued a public notice on Wednesday, soliciting opinions and comments on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). This comes after a five-year gap since the 21st Law Commission released a consultation paper on the same issue in August 2018.

There are so many sects in Hindus, Christianity, Sikhism, Islam, etc

Even armed forces, uniforms are different for Army, Navy and Airforce.

And what is this uniform civil code?
Every street, every village, every town, every town, every state has different civil codes written un written.
They are not uniform
Then how can one have a civil code uniform?

UCC is the best thing that India can get in present scenario.
It is must for the uniform progress and development of the country.
No one is still using tongas to move around..but cars, flights etc.
No one is still using bullocks for agriculture..but tractors.
No is still living in mud houses..but well constructed cemented houses.
No one still communicating through pigeons..but through proper communication channels..first post offices, now phones n emails.
So why still same old outdated laws for one religion in particular.
Why Myslim people are so resistant about development is real matter to wonder actually.
