MVP !!! Yuki Ishikawa DOMINATED the Italian Super Cup Final 2024. Yuki Ishikawa dominated the Final of the Italian Supercoppa 2024. With 20 points, Yuki Ishikawa was the leader in the victory of volleyball team Perugia.

Yūki Ishikawa (石川祐希, Ishikawa Yūki, born 11 December 1995) is a Japanese professional volleyball player. He currently plays as an outside hitter and team captain of Japan men's national volleyball team. At club-level, he plays for Sir Safety Perugia at the Italian Volleyball League.

Ishikawa was named as the "Best outside spiker" at the FIVB World Cup (2015, 2019), FIVB Nations League (2023, 2024), and Asian Championship (2017, 2019, 2021), as well as the "Most valuable player" at the Asian Championship (2017, 2023).

Ishikawa is the first volleyball player to have a wax figure in Japan. Currently, his wax figure is displayed at Madame Tussauds Tokyo.

I don't really think Giannelli can be a great setter for Ishikawa. Ishikawa is an incredible player, but he also relies on the setter. In Japan, he can shine, and in his previous club he was a monster as well, but Giannelli sets differently with a high ball and that doesn't help Ishikawa at all to be honest. This is also why he said this was not a good game for him, even though they won it. I feel that his full potential is not taken advantage of properly.
