Dude played one of the most psychopathic characters in modern film history and one of the kindest characters after that, and won Oscars for both. Legend.

This guy was forgotten in Austrian TVs shows, then he’s discovered by Tarantino and in his two first movies in a row he wins 2 Oscar’s

Dr. King Shultz is one of the best characters ever written and acted. A breath of fresh air in a world of overused Hollywood tropes.

That happiness on Quentin's face is so satisfying

An Oscar is not complete without Nicholson in the audience wearing shades

I like how he mentioned the other nominees at the beginning saying "my respect" and then bowed to them. That shows that he is a true gentleman and really humble. He deserved the Oscar.

Christoph Waltz is such an amazing actor. And yet another well deserved Oscar win.

His salute to the other contenders is a quintessential example of respect, integrity, humility and humbleness. This is an example of class that needs to be absorbed by all. I hope Christoph is part of Quentin's "last film"

He should be in Tarantino's last movie.

Waltz’s trajectory as an actor is a perfect example of how a super intelligent, multitalented person slogged through his acting career for *37 YEARS* without the huge success his ability and application deserved, until luck—and only luck—brought him to the attention of Tarantino. After coming to his attention, because the woman who at the time did international casting for Germany chose him as one of a shortlist of actors for Tarantino to audition, Waltz was able to land the role of Hans Landa. When I hear this kind of story, my thoughts always go to the hugely talented people never get their “lucky break.” So I’m _VERY_ happy for Mr. Waltz!

It's pretty incredible he can win academy awards for both playing an evil psychopathic and a man of such great compassion and humanity like Dr. Schultz. This man is a legend and an acting talent for the ages.
