The Riu republica also has a search underway for nearly a week for a missing girl named Sudiksha Konanki. Her parents want the investigation to also include the possibility of kidnapping/human trafficking, not only accident like drowning etc. Shes been missing since the 6th. The Riu has treated many tourists so badly but I worry especially for this young woman and her family

As someone who has been born and raised in South Florida.. it gets worse every year.
It’s overcrowded and people are disgusting with their behavior and polluting our beaches.
I walk the beach often and especially after spring break (along with lots of other locals) find myself picking up copious amounts of trash.
It’s sad and selfish behavior

I'm from Portugal and years ago, me and 3 girlfriends went to Cancun for vacation... little did we know that we went precisely during the "American Spring Break".... we were astonished and very disturbed with what we saw. I also went to University and studied 1 year abroad, and never in my life have I ever seen such behaviours... my advice to all non-Americans who aren't much aware what is "spring break", DO NOT go on holidays to tropical destinations during the American spring break!
