Switzerland Hotel Tour | 2024 Travel Memories 🇨🇭 #switzerland

We spent sooo much time researching where we wanted to stay on our trip through Switzerland. We knew we wanted to stay somewhere near Zurich because our train left the next afternoon from Zurich to head to Strasbourg, but we also wanted to stay in a small Swiss town that was removed from “touristy” areas. We finally stumbled upon @zumbauernhof in Oberlunkhofen, Switzerland and we are so grateful that we did. 🥹

Our stay was perfect. We had a traditional Swiss breakfast, chatted with locals, and slept like babies in our cozy hotel room. 🤍

The only challenge we had with this hotel was getting to it on Sunday night because the buses were not routed to Oberlunkhofen on Sunday night. Although it took a bit to connect with a driver, we finally booked an Uber on Sunday night. The bus was back up and running the next morning, though, and we easily navigated ourselves back into the city that next day. Just be mindful of the unique bus route on Sundays if you don’t have a car of your own. 🚍
