I wish I could sit back and wait for someone to pick me up and take me to a place to live I don’t have to pay for.

I've never understood why there is always so much trash.
Just because you're homeless doesn't mean you have to be filthy.

you can be poor and down and out, but living like that is disgusting

Meanwhile us working for a living would get fined into poverty if we littered like that

What gives these people the right to trash our streets like that?? You know how many fines i would accumulate if my property looked like that.

When you no longer care for yourself, you are no longer a human. Need to put it down from harm or danger to others

“I was inside my tent all day, and the worker didn’t show up to bring me to my appointment” is such a funny way of saying “I didn’t go to work today but expect others to show up to my doorstep to help me”. I suppose she had a busy schedule for the rest of the day?

I’m not gonna pretend like I know the entire situation she’s in. And she is right that they are people too. But my God, can’t you see how useless and entitled you sound?

Demand accountability from your Tribal governance.

Now you should be asking all those homeless people who will take a bed at a shelter. See how many go. So don't report there is not enough beds, because they won't take them. And Marissa, if you don't get a ride to your appointment, then take the damn bus.

Guess what this means for the rest of Minneapolis, people will be camping out in our yards and streets and bridges, human feces & needles in our patks even more. The City can do better.

This cycle goes on and on each year. There are laws in the book, just enforce them every spring when the first drug addicts tent is put up. Stop the lawlessness!

We are having a nation wide issue with people abusing drugs...and after reading all these hate filled comments, I can see why. These are people that have lost faith in humanity and yet we constantly show them the worst we have to offer. 😔 Show some compassion and understanding, because the alternative is making the addicts road to recovery more uphill. The world may have been cruel to us, but we don't NEED to pass it on. Wishing you the best and much love 💕
