i had the smimlar story. been watching this buck for 3 years and he blew up into a main frame 12 with a bunch of trash on his bases and while in a motocross event i crashed and fractured my collar bone (i hunt with a compound) and i was frantic all i could think about was this season. i had a 6-8 week projected recovery. on week 7 i sucessfully drew my compound back with not much pain and ik it was game on. i started hunting but he was showing up late season so now im just waiting for late season and south winds and hopefully the plan comes through

we now have a buck nearly identical to this but both g3s have splits and the splits on the g2's are a little bigger

I hear you on leaving a buck out over night I shot a nice 5x4 I tracked him about 400 yards in there was alot of blood but he wouldn't go down the closer I got to him the more he kept going so I decided to leave him for the night it was getting dark there was a little bit of light so I made my way back to my truck before I left I decided to take a look at another spot I have just to see what was there I ended up shooting a cool 5x5 he had a inch long kicker at the bottom of his G2 the first buck is a 162 the second one was 178. Later that night I kept thinking about him it kept me up till 4 in the morning I went back Later that morning I tracked him about 1500 yards in and the coyotes got him all that was left was his head thats the first time that happened to me

I'm confused on why you guys aired this hunt and the skyscraper hunt after we've already seen the big payoff video with both hunts in that video? Unless it was just more detailed which I understand.

Bedding down at a place to allow him to oversee the farm and human activity. That's a clever buck who knows how to use his resources to detect humans. Goes to show how clever and elusive deer can be especially big mature bucks.
