I appreciate your explanation. I just cannot do mnemonics, I think they're just so silly. And, ugh, getting through the whole acronym to get to the F in the bass clef...sorry, too long and too painful. And wait, which F was it again? The mnemonic doesn't exactly tell you. I did start with them, but found I learned quicker using the landmark system (memorizing High C, High G, Treble C, Treble G....Middle F, Bass C, Low F, Low C is easier and less confusing). Everyone learns differently so I hope you don't take this feedback as a criticism.
