Great video from Bournemouth. So many lovely things to see and do. I have been there briefly a couple of autumn days many years ago with a group and it was blowing a lot. I walked alone along the cliffs to the next pier and back, and that was great and I enjoyed the views and the solitude 😂. Now after this video I would like to go on a solo trip and really enjoy the city for a few days. Thank you 😊

The beach at Bournemouth Pier is where smugglers would unload their contraband from France. They would then take it up through the gardens on wagons to local villages. This was during the Georgian period of the 1700's. There is one written account of a battle that took place at Bournemouth Pier between the smugglers and the custom revenue officers. The smugglers won.

I live in Bournemouth different story when you ain’t visiting homeless is rife and do is drugs and alcohol. And a woman was raped in those gardens few years ago whilst sitting in the bench
