They FINALLY Buffed Her! Soul Eater Nerf! Conquest Map Changes! SMITE Update 9.9

The Patch Notes for Smite Patch 9.9 "Houses At War" are out and with it we'll get a variety of changes to the conquest map. Soul Eater also sees some nerfs, along with various other item changes. Some very long-needed god changes are also happening, for example Awilix buffs.

Gonna be honest. The Polynesian pantheon is also just 1 god, and with a Polynesian themed map makeover a ninja Maui release isn’t impossible.

Small aside about your heavy executioner comments; I think Ullr is the best niche case hunter for the item, the cap not really affecting his AA cancels much and complimenting a hydra's build well. With the buff I could possibly see a hunter like Hou Yi (no stims) make use of it, or maybe even a Nemesis build. Would enjoy hearing your thoughts on the item, as it seems like a criminally underrated pen option for many assassins imo.

At 3:15, I'm afraid you are wrong there Dukesloth. The next god is Maui, and he'll be changed from a warrior to a Guardian. Of course, I pray that I'm wrong, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm not wrong.

I find it weird that the map would be Polynesian themed but the new God not be Polynesian so surely the new God is Maui

I like this patch. And that new battlepass doesn't look too bad, I really like House Dragon Yu Huang. And then there is Necro Fumes Agni, I love that one.

I feel like susanos buffs aren't gonna be anything to note. Hear me out, you see da ji, kali, and lancelot in the jungle. They all have much higher scalings and much more to work with in general. Plus the dude is hard countered by most of the time, general knowledge and at the most, 1 character (artio).

They should have increased the attack speed cap from heavy excecutioner to 2.0, since Silverbranch bow builds are so popular at the moment

I'll never complain about Ne Zha buffs. Even if I barely touch the game anymore it makes me happy to hear.
But buffs to other gods I play like Mulan, Cern, Awilix are nice too. Unhappy about Vulcan cripple thing though, he's so annoying.

Awilix is in a similar odd space that Serquet used to be in, a Ability god who is not really Ability based.

30% slow on enemies hit by watery grave for 1/2/2/3/3 seconds would fit and make kuzenbo more versatile in team-fights and chasedowns.
