As an amateur player, I really appreciate it when professional players such as yourself make these types of videos. They have given me quite a lot of insight into the intricacies or little nitpicks in passing technique that my coach has never taught me. As a short player myself (5'8"), passing is one of the skills I'd like to improve on and your videos have helped me to fine-tune my form. Thank you so much Erik!

"Grankin is a little bit shorter"

Sergey Grankin is 6'5"

Id like to be 6'5" short

For Reid Priddy, an Olympic Gold Medalist, to come all the way back from a potential career-ending knee injury in a little over 2-years (and at 38 years old) and to wait around for an entire Olympic men's volleyball pool as the backup outside hitter for a chance to prove himself one more time, and then get inserted into the Bronze Medal match and have the impact he had was just phenomenal.

His block cover at 14-13 is the play that saved the Bronze Medal for the USA Men.

One of my most favorite Olympic volleyball moments ever.

It is a cool concept to see what is in the mind of a five star player.

Congrats on the new channel. I think it will be a really nice addition to the volleyball community. If I could make one suggestions: have the volleyball take up the main screen and move your face to the picture-in-picture for most of the action, then you can bring your face back onto the main screen while you are making a longer explanation.

Really enjoyed the video Erik. As a long time player and now club coach, it's great to hear your thoughts and insights to the action on the court, especially if, as others have mentioned, you react to both matches you participated in, as well as ones where you didn't.

Hi Eric. I wish you good luck in volleyball and the development of your channel. I can't go to Torch games yet. But I am still rooting for you!
