A destined hero signifying a promise made, artoria lily is artoria before she became king Arthur and began her journey as a hero and a king. I love how she is so much more upbeat and cheerful because of this. Saber’s backstory hits harder when you contrast her much serious demeanour compared to that of lily. You see how her path changed her. Personally my favourite form of saber.
