URWERK breaks the rules with the EMC

Urwerk launches the EMC, which stands for "Electro Mechanical Control," a watch that redefines the limits of contemporary high-end watchmaking. This new timekeeper contains an electronic monitoring device able to measure the precision of the main mechanical caliber. Using it, the owner can check the movement's accuracy and adjust it using a screw on the back of the watch if needed. @thewatchestv

Urwerk can do no wrong. I admire the avant-garde watches they make.

Nothing new- it's 30 year old Grand Seiko Spring drive technology. But not an efficient one. Grand Seiko perfected it to have more than a months power reserve, this one needs constant winding

What an unbelievably stupid thing. I stick with my Casio W-800H. Completely pointless way to go.
