Between the F-35 and F-117, Which is stealthier? #shorts

The F-117 Nighthawk and the F-35 Lightning II are both advanced stealth aircraft, but there are some differences in their stealth capabilities. The F-117 Nighthawk, the world's first operational stealth aircraft, developed in the 1970s, is known for its angular and faceted shape, along with radar-absorbent materials, which reduced its radar cross-section (RCS), making it difficult to detect and track. While groundbreaking in its time, the F-35 Lightning II, developed in the 2000s, incorporates a more rounded and smoother design compared to the F-117, which helps reduce its RCS. The F-35 also uses radar-absorbent materials and other coatings to further minimize its visibility to radar. Additionally, it has advanced internal weapon bays that allow it to carry weapons internally, reducing its external profile and enhancing its stealth capabilities.

Well, in fact, the F35 does and is facaited like the f117. the issue was back then computer power only allowed those larger facets to be computed. However, if you make each facet smaller and smaller, then eventually you get what looks like a smooth surface, but it is in fact faceted the same way! - just on oh so much of a smaller size, that to the naked eyes (and air flow), they are so small, that the surface looks smooth.

The other area that allows the F35 to achieve a lower and better RCS is its's on board software.
And the newer fiber-mat coating on the F35 also works better, is thicker, more durable (maintains free), is rated for the lifetime of the airframe.
Thus, unlike the F117 and F22, as the surface suffers wear and tear, the stealth of the F35 actually smooths out and improves over time - the exact opposite of the high maintains stealth coatings used on the F117 and the F22.

As a result, the F35 not only has a better and lower RCS then the F117, but it also has a better and lower RCS then the F22.

You can't hear an F-117 until it's passed overhead even if you can see it coming whereas you can hear an F-35 coming from miles away even if you can't see it!

F 117 Nighthawk might be stealthy to you, but to Serbs it wasn't who shot this stealth aircraft during 1999 bombing of Belgrade with decades old Soviet S 125 Neva Surface to Air missiles.
The remains of shot aircraft are still preserved in a Serbian museum, which you can find as well as see online.

Can someone, who has more knowledhe in stealth technology, give me like a ranking of all stealth aircraft like who is the most and least stealthy? Cause I wanted to know this for like forever but I ceep seeing conflicting answers or is such kind of ranking impossiple cause of how much it`s classified?

Both the F-117 Nighthawk and the F-35 Lightning II are very great stealthy vehicles.
However, the most stealthiest in today's military is the F-35.

F-117 carries 2 bombs. The F-35 can carry many more. Plus missiles to defend itself and anit-armor missiles. The G-35 has a mini-gun. The F-117 does not.

Where's the F-22 in the mix? I can't figure out why the Air FARCE (spelled internationally) stupidly decided that the 35 is a better bird. The F-35 can only carry 4 missles! The 22 is so much better. Same mentality of those idiots wanting to get rid of the Warthog.
