This channel explores my journey with budget guitars through a mix of various kinds of videos. You’ll find boring unboxing videos, out of the box tone samples, discussions of fit and finish, features, specifications, hardware, electronics, initial thoughts, reactions, guitar work, and lots of stories.

Along the way, I'll offer my take on questions like, “Should I buy a budget guitar? “Is upgrading a budget guitar worth it?” What is the cost difference between upgrading budget guitars with the price of brand name guitars? Do all budget guitars need upgrade? and more.

Wherever you are on your guitar journey, I hope it’s a good ride for you.
Rock on with your bad selves.
I’ll catch you down the road.

I hope I'm catching you before the orange. You must do Scotch-Brite to scuff up the surface of the primer so the orange will adhere. Also please stop running your bare hands all over the surface of the guitar. Body oils from your hand will stop adhesion of the paint.. after you do the Scotch-Brite please find a non-lint cloth like cotton or painters rag for incense (not linty paper towel) to apply a degreaser before whatever you're going to spray next. as Brad indicated you can use Windex as the degreaser between the Colts and please wear gloves all the time so your bare hand does not touch the surface.
This finally looks like it's getting closer.
Thanks for keeping on giving me the shout outs. It's a good thing you can't hear the shouting going on in my house as I watch you do this. I was under the impression that sanding sealer was only for bare wood and/or, wear grain filler may have been applied and sanded down to bare wood except for the divots. If you think about it with the coat of stuff that was already on the wood plus the multiple coats of primer and then another coat of aquacoat I was thinking the wood was pretty well sealed by then. O ya, when you use the Scotch-Brite before the orange make sure the entire surface looks matte and there are no shiny spots anywhere. Shiny will be your enemy for adhesion of the orange coat

You're not going to paint the headstock to match?

Ted, may have missed this in a previous video. Did Fesley provide detailed instructions? What costs were involved with primer and paint? Thanks for the content.

LOL
You sure have a lot of time to waste
You could be working part time and buy your grandson a
American Telecaster
Just thinking you would be saving time for a way better Tele.
