As a Luster main, I'm so hyped for this class! From the looks of it, it's going to be my main in NGS as well.

Friendship ended with Katana/Bow multi-weapon. Gunblade is my best friend now.

Time for some over analysis (this is all theory based on whats displayed so feel free to discuss)

0:20 First PA - Uncharged Lv 1
0:24 First PA - Charge Lv 2
0:27 First PA - Charge Lv 3
Clearly inspired from the Flex Arrow bow PA where it has 3 levels of charge, with the third one being the most powerful but has long charge and stationary (mostly used when unable to hit the enemy for a period of time)

0:36 Normal Attacks
Sadly we don't see 4th hit on the chain, it gets dash cancelled on the trailer twice.

0:42 Second PA - Forward direction application
0:43 Second PA - Stationary application
Similar to Knuckles and Double Saber PAs like Julien Dance, this single target PA seems to have a stationary and directional application window wether want to be used in place or moving forward as a gap closer, the stationary is a shorter version that starts from the stronger hits from the combo and prevents your character lunging past the enemy that fighters players tend to avoid.

0:56 Third PA - Forward direction application, 3 steps
Inspired from Iris Gale, a 3 step katana PA AoE combo move that has 3 variations based on which step it's done. There is no other 3 step PAs so might not have the Braver skill gimmick where you mix up steps of different PAs. Forward direction input allows a longing forward animation on the first step akin to the first step of Distorsion Stork, a Soaring Blades AoE PA.

1:00 Weapon Action? - Forward direction application.
1:02 Weapon Action? - Stationary application
Inspired from the Bomber Toss PA from basic gunblade from base PSO2. Seems to have guard point frames as displayed in the shield animation so it's also used as a block. Holding forward makes the character launch forward while kicking the grenade, stationary input seems to move the character back. Feels similar to Rifle grenadier from assalt rifle and stylish roll from TMG weapons which lack a stationary parry.

1:10 Fourth PA - First Step
1:11 Fourth PA - Second Step
Another base PSO2 basic gunblade PA Writhing Serpent on the first step, launches your character upward and raises altitude. Second is a first time seeing this is a drop PA akin to Lunar Flourishing (Gekka-Zakuro in PSO2JP) from base PSO2 Katana PA, however it has a circular AoE finish. Seems like cancelling the step one won't allow you to make the character forget step 2 next time is applied (possibly a skill tree ability that can possibly be activated with directional shift, heavily baseless theory on this regard).

1:14 Skill
This skill seems to be activated from the subpalette by the click sound it plays at start (there has been no cases of developers applying Photon Arts to the sub palette). This skill seems to have gap closing capabilities and performs heavy damage, and allegedly a big PP recovery, follows the philosophy of Range weapon skills like assault rifle, launcher and TMGs where they have a cooldown/charge based skill (Rifle Grenadier, Sticky Bomb and Hail of Bullets) that is often used for PP management, can't speculate much if it will be cooldown with focus on skills to shorten it like Rifle Grenadier or it will be chargable like Hail of Bullets or Pinion blade.

1:17 Gun made normal attacks into Gun mode sidestep counter into previous skill used.

1:22 Slayer Combat
1:24 Slayer Combat Finish
This skill seems akin to Brave Combat from braver (can also be compared to Scion Time skills but that's a stretch), adds a ring around your character to indicate the activation and buff duration, color of the ring might be affected by weapon camo, might give a DPS related buff and has a finisher on activation, finisher seems to have frontal AoE properties. Inspired from Katana Brave Combat Finish. Might have bonuses for performing attacks in this mode.

1:33 Photon Blast
Marked by the character shining and skill usage, seems to offer excellent tracking, it will home in like Katana Photon Blast start but adds that it's finisher is a homing attack that will chase down even a moving boss.

Idc how compatible nor incompatible the two are when this releases, but gonna easily be running Sl/Wa. Seems like so much fun.

Honestly looks like a good start to the class, hope that it gets the mobility of luster's Swift Slash (waker's linear drive is already halfway there), and eventually has the focus bar/gauge thing to do the whole enhanced PA combo into Swift Shot thing from fomel style luster. Hitting those combos felt like Bayonetta's Wicked Weaves, some of the punchiest and best feeling combat ever.

It appears like 60% Gunslash from the base game when used by any other class than Luster but revamped, 20% Luster, 20% NGS style of fighting.

Kinda sad they didn't keep the elemental gimmicks from the Luster class like fommel bits or zandi wings and that ice/light element gimmick that I keep forgetting the name of.
