Frozen in Time: Living in NYC’s Oldest Tiny-House

This insanely cool apartment was built in 1880 and is from a world where landlord’s hadn’t yet realized NYC renters would settle for the closet-sized apartments of today. Check out this incredible blast from the past and let me know if you’d live here.

Notice how Cash didn't slam any doors or windows in this episode. Cash can learn. There's hope for all of us.

I still am in amazement that there are people who can and will pay so freaking much money every month after month to live in an apartment that they will never own themselves. It is truly mind boggling to me.

Very nice! All of the units! I LOVED THAT WOOD FLOORING! Oh, MY! The bathrooms!!! Kudos to the Landlord for such renovations. But... I simply just can't imagine paying $11K/month in rent for a place to live. Again, I'd do a cost/benefit analysis of staying in a hotel/motel (free internet, utilities, and household services!) or crashing on a couch dealing with in-laws or friends, in order to do a major savings plan in preparation to buy and own something.

Great apartments. Beautiful renovations, spacious rooms. But what? No sink sprayers?! Love your walk throughs and commentary on the sights and sounds of the neighborhood. Natalia was very nice, laid back, but informative. I just can't wrap my head around those rent prices!

I moved to this neighborhood in 1991. I had an entire floor of a brownstone, quite similar to this one. I paid $600 a month.

Cash, I really enjoyed Natalia. This video was totally chill and very well put together. Brookline is one of my favorite neighborhoods.
I was wondering if you studied at Yale. Your skills remind me of their methods. Keep going! ☮️👏👏👏👏👏

One of NYCs grandest neighborhoods in Brooklyn USA. An ideal of urban life that survives, albeit at high cost. Just walking the streets there is a treat. There are active neighborhood associations trying to protect them.
