A large group of demonstrators gathered in South Los Angeles Monday evening after deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department shot and killed a Black man.

Gun is in a piece of clothing in a bundle of laundry, and on the ground. The victim did not have control of the gun, nor was he threatening anyone with it. Running from a cop doesn't and shouldn't carry the death penalty. So one cop got his nose knocked (probably deserved it), there was NO threat of death or injury from a gun in a bundle of laundry which the victim dropped on the ground. The cops just saw the gun in the bundle of laundry, on the ground, then murdered the victim.
